The stunning works of art and architecture known as the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World are a testament to human ingenuity, imagination and hard work. However, they are also reminders of the capacity to contradict, disrupt and possibly embellish.
Once ancient writers compiled a list of the “Seven Wonders,” it became a debate about which achievements deserved to be included.
The original list comes from a work written by Philo of Byzantium in 225 BC. was written. Titled “The Seven Wonders”.
Ultimately, the hands of man joined forces with nature to destroy all miracles, but only one. Also, it’s possible that at least one of these miracles didn’t exist at all.
Yet all seven are extraordinary products of creativity and skill that continue to inspire and celebrate Earth’s early civilizations.
